From the reviews
We didn't enter the castle 🏰 but we did see a suit of armor in the window. There wasn't a Frenchman at the top 🔝 of the castle yelling at us saying "Your mother was a hamster 🐹 and your father smells of elderberries!". I enjoyed exploring the immediate grounds surrounding the castle. They are well maintained.
The views here are breath taking. Great, easy walking trails with water and beautiful landscaping all around. The grounds are amazing. The castle was a dream
Great hike up to the castle. Not too intense at all although a little confusing to stay on the correct trail. But there might be multiple trails to get there I'm guessing. There's parking, so you don't have to hike up, you could drive up. There were a few groups of people there but it wasn't crowded at all.
You can visit the castle anytime but I don't think you are allowed to enter. The view of the castle is spectacular. There are also a few remains of the stone made things the indigenous people used which are centuries old. Quite fascinating. There is a trail as well.
Galas & corporate events at Winnekenni Castle
Reviews and the castle's own info mention galas, corporate events, or private parties at Winnekenni Castle — castle venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
