From the reviews
Fun place to chill! Didn’t expect it to be so cute but it was. Trails were easy to walk with cute views. I wouldn’t call it extraordinary… but it was a nice place to walk and hangout with some friends. Will definitely go again for a day picnic.
I take my dogs to walk on the trails here every day. They are all about 1.5 miles long and very peaceful. There are puppy clean up stations all throughout the park which is great because I don't have to worry about carrying a poo bag the whole time I'm walking.
It’s so many things to do such as walk, trails, bike, trails, and kayaking. You can also rent kayaks at the location where you can launch your kayak at. The trails are so amazing. You can walk for hours to get a good walk and even run through the trails as well.
A beautiful park right next to historic Smithfield. Really impressed with this. Lots of lookouts over the marsh, very clean and well maintained, includes a dog park and a unique playground as well as a kayak launch. Beautiful shaded and unshaded trails alike. I would be here all the time if I lived nearby.
Getting married at Windsor Castle Park
A castle wedding is the once-in-a-lifetime, storybook kind — the grand staircase, the ballroom, the gardens and turrets your photos will live on forever. Castle weddings commonly run $10,000–$40,000+ depending on the date, guest count, and how much is included, so ask for a written quote for your season — Windsor Castle Park doesn’t publish a set price, and tiers move fast. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you’d actually get married — a ballroom that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you’ll want to walk the path your guests take from the gates to the ceremony to the reception. Second, bring your real questions: what’s included with the venue fee (tables, chairs, setup, teardown), the catering and bar policy, whether you can stay overnight on-site, the rain plan for a garden ceremony, and the music curfew. Fairytale dates at castle venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what’s open in your season before you leave.
