From the reviews
Amazing History! Castle is the oldest brick house in America, built in the seventeenth century, and 75% of the building is original. The furniture is from the 18th century. It was named after the rebellious Nathaniel Bacon, though he was not the owner of the property.
Bacons Castle was built by my 10th great grandfather so I was excited to see it! The tour was extremely informative and our tour guide was excellent! This house is the oldest brick home in America and is full of 17th century artifacts and antiques. Definitely worth a visit for any history buff.
Castle is the oldest brick house in America. It was built in the seventeenth century and 75% of this building is original. Amazing!!!. Very quiet and peaceful place. Furniture inside from 18th century but it preserves originality in the interior of house 🤩. Just fabulous house.
Definitely a landmark worth visiting! Such interesting architecture, and it manages to keep the charm that many less historic places have with it being manageably busy and quite quaint. The tour guide we had was very informative and knowledgeable.
