From the reviews
Perfect time of year to take a stroll by this place. This is a beautiful building for those interested in this type of thing. You cannot go into the house but parking nearby and walking around near it is very accessible.
Growing up in Northeast Ohio, Franklin's Castle has always been fascinating to me. Whether it's the structure itself or the "stories" that have been passed down through the years that has held my interest throughout my child and adulthood remains... perhaps a bit of both. But, I can say....
I stayed overnight in Louise’s Dwelling for my birthday. This part of the castle spans the entire third floor. Built in the late 1880s by Hannes Tiedemann the suite features two private chambers, a large Reading Room, two bathrooms, and a Victorian kitchen with views overlooking the Rose Garden and Carriage House.
We spent the night at Franklin Castle. A place we have all been dying to see. Jens was our host; he’s the most interesting storyteller and knows every bit of the history of the home. We spent the night and Jens was still giving us a tour late into the evening which was terrific fun.
