We experienced the overnight stay. Other than the caretaker, the castle is all yours to explore. The dinner was excellent and although the cost is expensive ($1k), it is well worth the experience and memories. You receive a private tour of the castle which is very long.
Singer Castle, in my opinion, is a must see. The story behind it is inspiring in more ways than one. You can almost feel the presence of party goers from long ago, moving throughout the grounds. The architecture is amazing, the views are unmatched, and the sense of peace while I was there was incredible.
When compared to Boldt Castle, the experience is different. The boat ride will be longer than Boldt as the castle is further out. All tours are guided, and covers the majority of the castle. However, unlike at Boldt Castle, you do have the choice to stay the night at Singer.
One of only three castles within the Thousand Island regions from what I understand. Supposed to be haunted and with many Secret Passage ways which you can learn about on a guided tour.

Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you’d actually get married — a ballroom that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you’ll want to walk the path your guests take from the gates to the ceremony to the reception. Second, bring your real questions: what’s included with the venue fee (tables, chairs, setup, teardown), the catering and bar policy, whether you can stay overnight on-site, the rain plan for a garden ceremony, and the music curfew.
