The place looks great...my family and I lived in "The Castle "from about 1956 to early 1959....I was about fourteen, My memories will stay with me forever...my little brother and I had endless places to explore and play....
The tour of the castle was excellent. A man and wife played the part of the original owners in costume and told the history beautifully with the help of other staff members who were all very kind, enthusiastic and passionate about the history of the castle and the families that owned it as well as the city of Pacifica…
A very beautifully decorated small castle. It's always fun to learn the history of the local landmark castle, its dark history and how it finally shaped into the current luxury state. All the tickets also go to support local art students.
My grandparents moved to the bay area from West Virginia in the 50's for better opprotunities. They lived in a small apartment in the Mission district while they worked and saved money for a down payment on a house. Once they acquired enough for a small down payment, they looked for homes to buy in Pacifica.
