From the reviews
This venue is beautiful. Aside from the aesthetic, the venue owner, Penny, is simply a wonderful, kind person to work with. I have photographed weddings here multiple times and each time a new couple books me to photograph here I get so excited! Here are some things you should know about the venue. 1.
I photographed a wedding here and it was absolutely beautiful. Penny & her husband were so kind and you can tell how passionate they are about weddings and their venue. It was such a nice drive to Treynor & a really great spot to get away.
We had the most amazing wedding at the Palace Event Center. Craig was so easy to work with and helped make our dream day run so smoothly. He truly has the best in mind for his clients and helped make our day turn out exactly how we wanted it to. The venue is so gorgeous which is a testament to Craig and his staff.
I got married at the barn on August 28, 2021. From getting engaged right when Covid broke out to planning a wedding during a pandemic, Penny and Craig were SO helpful along the way. The venue is breathtaking and the property is very well taken care of.
Getting married at Palace Event Center
A castle wedding is the once-in-a-lifetime, storybook kind — the grand staircase, the ballroom, the gardens and turrets your photos will live on forever. Castle weddings commonly run $10,000–$40,000+ depending on the date, guest count, and how much is included, so ask for a written quote for your season — Palace Event Center doesn’t publish a set price, and tiers move fast. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you’d actually get married — a ballroom that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you’ll want to walk the path your guests take from the gates to the ceremony to the reception. Second, bring your real questions: what’s included with the venue fee (tables, chairs, setup, teardown), the catering and bar policy, whether you can stay overnight on-site, the rain plan for a garden ceremony, and the music curfew. Fairytale dates at castle venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what’s open in your season before you leave.
Galas & corporate events at Palace Event Center
Reviews and the castle's own info mention galas, corporate events, or private parties at Palace Event Center — castle venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
