From the reviews
I had my wedding reception here and Absolutely LOVED IT! It really feels like an old European Chateau. We loved all the authentic themed rooms for family to stay in for a few nights! It was a dream experience to have both our families together like this to get to know each other before the big day!
Chateau De Lis is absolutely awe inspiring. Unbelievable stone architecture that transports you back in time. It’s easy to see that every single detail has been meticulously curated. Each room is themed and has its own type of cozy ambiance. What makes Chateau De Lis even better are the owners Chauncy and John.
Chateau de Lis was the perfect venue for our wedding reception. Every guest was enchanted by the details of the whole castle and grounds. The owners were incredible to work with. We look back on our pictures from that whole night with awe at how truly magical and breathtaking it all was.
As a wedding photographer, I have worked with hundreds of venues but have never seen something this beautiful! This venue has incredible outdoor and indoors views. Every room is filled with such detail, any bride would appreciate it. The owners are professional, kind and have incredible attention to detail.
Getting married at Chateau de Lis
A castle wedding is the once-in-a-lifetime, storybook kind — the grand staircase, the ballroom, the gardens and turrets your photos will live on forever. Castle weddings commonly run $10,000–$40,000+ depending on the date, guest count, and how much is included, so ask for a written quote for your season — Chateau de Lis doesn’t publish a set price, and tiers move fast. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you’d actually get married — a ballroom that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you’ll want to walk the path your guests take from the gates to the ceremony to the reception. Second, bring your real questions: what’s included with the venue fee (tables, chairs, setup, teardown), the catering and bar policy, whether you can stay overnight on-site, the rain plan for a garden ceremony, and the music curfew. Fairytale dates at castle venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what’s open in your season before you leave.
Galas & corporate events at Chateau de Lis
Reviews and the castle's own info mention galas, corporate events, or private parties at Chateau de Lis — castle venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
