From the reviews
This castle was an awesome visit! The best part it’s absolutely free! They do have a box for donations, and I encourage you to give something. The host/owner, Mathias, opens up the castle as a free service to the public and as a testament to Jesus Christ.
Small and sweet replica of an Irish Castle over 1000 years ago. Open only Sunday to the public 9-12. Small parking lot located inside gate where a volunteer will direct you where to park. Multiple levels and balconies overlooking the main floor. Open windows that let the beautiful natural light shine inside.
The owner's father built this castle to look like an old Irish castle. It is an architectural landscape sculpture, not a place to live. The bricks and construction history is fascinating. No charge to get in but a donation is requested. Entry is very limited and usually for preplanned groups. They also allow weddings.
This place is GORGEOUS! I'm sharing my experience as a Florida elopement photographer that had the joy of capturing a couple's intimate wedding here at the property. We had tons of privacy and flexibility to enjoy the property for their elopement.
Getting married at Castle Otttis
A castle wedding is the once-in-a-lifetime, storybook kind — the grand staircase, the ballroom, the gardens and turrets your photos will live on forever. Castle weddings commonly run $10,000–$40,000+ depending on the date, guest count, and how much is included, so ask for a written quote for your season — Castle Otttis doesn’t publish a set price, and tiers move fast. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you’d actually get married — a ballroom that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you’ll want to walk the path your guests take from the gates to the ceremony to the reception. Second, bring your real questions: what’s included with the venue fee (tables, chairs, setup, teardown), the catering and bar policy, whether you can stay overnight on-site, the rain plan for a garden ceremony, and the music curfew. Fairytale dates at castle venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what’s open in your season before you leave.
