It was a really awesome experience and the vendors were all nice, bit it was a bit pricey.
We went to the viking festival. We went with low expectations and had a great time. The kids did a fight against a sword master, the wife did all the fun shops that were all around the castle, and we all enjoyed the axe/spear throwing. There was music and food. We wore street clothes and we fit right in.
The Renaissance fair was at the castle 10/21/23. It was spectacular with jousting, music, a man eating fire, hatchet throwing. Some of the people were dressed in that period clothing. There were crystal,clothing,food you could buy.. A good time for all.
Love the castle... ! Such a pretty property.. quiet of the countryside.. the king & his crew were amazing..great place for everything from engagement..weddings... Shenanigans
