From the reviews
If you're seeking thrills and chills, this haunted castle is the perfect destination for you! Right from the start, the host welcomes you with tales of its ghostly residents.
We’ve been wanting to visit here for a long time, it’s being rehabbed and the fountain is being repaired too. Doesn’t matter we loved it here. It was $40 for 2 adults, have a guided tour and then explore on your own. We spent about 90 minutes there.
We were only able to drive by as the gate was closed and had all manner of 'no tresspassing' signs and warnings posted to it now. But it was a glorious thing to behold on the hilltop. The brick barns on either side of the road were equally amazing.
Planned a birthday party here so we could play DnD in a castle. The staff and owner were incredibly kind and accommodating as well as knowledgeable. It's a beautiful location and the party was so much fun, a resounding success. Highly recommend you visit if you're in the area !
Getting married at Wilson Castle
A castle wedding is the once-in-a-lifetime, storybook kind — the grand staircase, the ballroom, the gardens and turrets your photos will live on forever. Castle weddings commonly run $10,000–$40,000+ depending on the date, guest count, and how much is included, so ask for a written quote for your season — Wilson Castle doesn’t publish a set price, and tiers move fast. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you’d actually get married — a ballroom that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you’ll want to walk the path your guests take from the gates to the ceremony to the reception. Second, bring your real questions: what’s included with the venue fee (tables, chairs, setup, teardown), the catering and bar policy, whether you can stay overnight on-site, the rain plan for a garden ceremony, and the music curfew. Fairytale dates at castle venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what’s open in your season before you leave.
