UPDATE AUGUST 2025 Went to the castle today , was fenced up , along with being boarded up the house next to it had building materials lying in the driveway. Went to a trail to the left side of the castle where I ran into two police woman on horseback asked them about the castle got told the city is rebuilding it .
It’s a really cool castle but I wish I could get more information about it. Maybe some photos too.
Beautiful remnants of once was probably a beautiful landmark historical castle. It has a lot of life left and it is easy to get to and take pictures of from the road. they are doing a lot of work to it but you can still see it from the street pretty good!
Me and my bro went inside a little bit about 25-30 years ago. Cool fountain as soon as I walked in. Wood floors taking on water rot. Was kinda dark. We were too spooked to look around much. Wimps we were!
