From the reviews
If you old houses and history then the Castle is well worth a visit. Beatifully maintained/restored American gothic home, and our tour guide (Tammy, I think?) was very informative and clearly liked sharing her passion for this home and its history.
We have visited The Castle in Marietta a few times. This most recent time was for the 1917 Living History Tour, hence the WWI army photos. The 4 actors playing the historic roles were amazing and the story of how this influential local family spearheaded so many great efforts is amazing!
I live a bit over an hour away from here and have been to Marietta many times but have never been to this castle. We saw the flashlight paranormal tours on Facebook and my daughter and i jumped on it. It was easy to get to. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable.
Stopped in to see if we could schedule a tour and we were able to get tickets for the next tour (which was in less than an hour). Every room was so beautiful. The gothic revival architecture can be seen throughout the home. Our guide, Jaye was fun and told us some interesting info about the place.
