Sadly, people have tried to make this into a place where ghosts are common. It is nonsense. I worked in that building for years and all shifts with critical care and death and dieing patients. I wrapped many bodies for the morgue. If ANYONE was to see a ghost, it would probably be me or my staff. It never happened.
Def worth the stop. Not only is it massive and alluring in its architectural design it is sadly an underrated piece of American history and only one you can currently see from outside.
My grandmother was in this hospital years ago. In and out. Had alot of problems. I know that way back, they were treated inhumane. Makes me sick. If people understood mental illness they would know they are quite intelligent actually. Quit making this out to be a ghost story. I pray their souls are free.
I have so many questions about the guy leaving a review about finding a dead body…
