We enjoyed our time at the Castle Winery. Joe had some great jokes and the wine was very good. Follow the directions on the Groupon and everything will be just fine. The poor reviews are mostly a result of people showing up at the winery without an appointment.
My husband came across a Groupon for a wine tasting at the Tarpon Springs Castle Winery and we were looking for something to do for part of the day. He called to see if we could go today and were told yes. We ended up being the only people for the time slot we chose so we had our own private tasting.
I will talk about THE WINE ok. They don’t use chemicals, so the wine is smooth. It is not oaked but very mellow and balanced. I don’t drink too much red wine but these ones were great. The wine is made in small batches in the old Italian way. Now I have to say that THIS IS NOT a fancy place, so snobs STAY AWAY.
Had a great experience at Tarpon Springs Castle Winery! I went with my husband, co worker and their spouse, and we enjoyed ourselves. Not at all what I was expecting, not your typical wine tasting. The owners are absolutely adorable, they have been doing this a long time.
