Entry into the palace is not expensive and there are a plethora of rooms and even a cozy backyard area with interesting looking lights. The Palace feels historic as it was created in the 1700s and is an enjoyable quick spot to visit in San Antonio.
Beautiful place for a nice quaint cocktail hour/ wedding reception. (If your having a big wedding party not really the place for you) The evening was very elegant and perfect weather for my friends wedding reception.
Spanish Governor’s Palace is a hidden gem well worth visiting when in San Antonio. The woman at reception handed me a map to use for the self-guided tour and offered a generous amount of information when I asked. Inside you’ll visit a former residence that was used also for commercial purposes with period furnishings.
The Spanish Governor's Palace is a place worth visiting. The restoration and remodeling work is well done. The garden is beautiful. Parking is one block away.
