My husband and I spent our honeymoon here and it was so beautiful. The cell reception is poor but it's a great thing if you're interested in cutting out electronics and actually spending time with your family.
Be prepared for a magical experience where you are pulled from your everyday life and the stresses around you and get ready to enjoy an amazing, unplugged getaway with a whimsical fantasy feel!
The location is a little rural so do not expect to be walking to anything nearby but I like that. Makes it a great place to disconnect for awhile. The main castle is beautiful and the cottages are all themed. Went to a murder mystery event by Moonlight Murders with a friend which was such a good time.
My wife and I had a nice stay at Ravenwood. The staff were friendly, the room was very clean (we stayed in the Shakespeare Suite), and we felt very safe there. The power went out one night, and by the time my wife and I woke up to notice, the staff were already out there getting it taken care of.
