The setting
“Gazing out from inside made me forget I was here, and made me feel like I was back in the late 1800s, looking out for a set of horses and carriage to take me away.”
“If your between having tea here or The Brown Palace where you pay twice the amount, go HERE!”
“Stepping into the Queen's Parlour Tea Room at Miramont Castle felt like opening a page from a Victorian fairytale.”

From the reviews
A meticulously renovated castle with many cool sites and interesting stories. One of my favorites was the locked away originals wallpaper which contains arsenic! The visit is affordable and offers a fun way to spend some leisure time in this beautiful town. They also have cute tea parties if you call and reserve ahead.
A fascinating experience. The lady at the front desk was welcoming and witty when it came to giving details about the castle upon our arrival. It is a self guided tour with ample materials to read about the history of what went on in the castle.
My experience visiting the Castle for the first time was just magical. This night event was their first night to host a dinner and wine pairing and they didn’t disappoint. This evening started with the amazing view from the parking lot which was easy to get to because of the detailed signs getting there.
Stepping into the Queen's Parlour Tea Room at Miramont Castle felt like opening a page from a Victorian fairytale. Sharing high tea with my favorite girls was more than just a meal. It was a memory steeped in nostalgia, joy, and elegance.
Getting married at Miramont Castle Museum and The Queen's Parlour Tea Room
A castle wedding is the once-in-a-lifetime, storybook kind — the grand staircase, the ballroom, the gardens and turrets your photos will live on forever. Castle weddings commonly run $10,000–$40,000+ depending on the date, guest count, and how much is included, so ask for a written quote for your season — Miramont Castle Museum and The Queen's Parlour Tea Room doesn’t publish a set price, and tiers move fast. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you’d actually get married — a ballroom that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you’ll want to walk the path your guests take from the gates to the ceremony to the reception. Second, bring your real questions: what’s included with the venue fee (tables, chairs, setup, teardown), the catering and bar policy, whether you can stay overnight on-site, the rain plan for a garden ceremony, and the music curfew. Fairytale dates at castle venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what’s open in your season before you leave.
