From the reviews

My hubby and I booked a 1220 Upper Stairs Tour on a Sunday afternoon. We got there a little early and the lady at the ticket booth was kind enough to offer us to get to the 1200 tour, which we appreciated so much.

It is amazing how a wealthy person can accumulating all those things from around the world for us to see and appreciate now. You have to took a 5 mile bus ride to and from the castle up on the hill for each tour. And do make sure you only bring up water and nothing else on your tour!

What an amazing site to see. This castle was so strikingly gorgeous. As you turn into the property the first thing you see is the zebras wandering the property. At the welcome center you purchase the type of tour you want to see. A tour bus drives you up to the property. The castle is jaw dropping.

We came here in mid-September this year. We visited Hearst Castle because we were doing the PC-1 route and wanted to stop by this iconic place we had heard mentioned before. In general, it’s a place with a mix of art that felt a bit extravagant for my taste.
