From the reviews
The castle was decorated for the holidays and was absolutely beautiful. It was pretty busy, and I felt a little rushed due to the crowds. I'd love to return another time to take a guided tour to learn more and really take it all in.
Beautiful estate and grounds. Had an informative tour of the castle. Hope they get it fully restored.
Neat place to visit for $10. The tour guide was very knowledgable and polite. The inside of the castle isn't what I expected. The first floor is decorated and laid out how you would expect. The second floor has been pretty much redone and its hard to picture it as it would have been.
Loved this castle, sad that part is modernized for offices. But, at least its being used & not torn down. Had a wonderful tour guide, interesting stories. Afterwards, we visited Alliance cemetary to see the graves of the people they talked about. Used the cloe app.
Getting married at Glamorgan Castle
A castle wedding is the once-in-a-lifetime, storybook kind — the grand staircase, the ballroom, the gardens and turrets your photos will live on forever. Castle weddings commonly run $10,000–$40,000+ depending on the date, guest count, and how much is included, so ask for a written quote for your season — Glamorgan Castle doesn’t publish a set price, and tiers move fast. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you’d actually get married — a ballroom that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you’ll want to walk the path your guests take from the gates to the ceremony to the reception. Second, bring your real questions: what’s included with the venue fee (tables, chairs, setup, teardown), the catering and bar policy, whether you can stay overnight on-site, the rain plan for a garden ceremony, and the music curfew. Fairytale dates at castle venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what’s open in your season before you leave.
