I stood up as a Bridesmaid in my best friend's wedding on February 25th, 2017. I was delighted when she chose such a beautiful place to celebrate her special day. I feel compelled to write a review about how outstanding this venue is. The staff was very kind, professional, and accomodating. THE FOOD!
Jerry and his staff, there are too many to list by name, are the greatest. There isn't anything they do not do to please and make your event the best it can be. The venue is beautiful and clean. The food was the talk of everyone at the wedding.
Visited Chateau on the River for my son's wedding venue in March. Tasted many different food choices all of which were very good! I believe the caterer is Kosch's? The building can hold up to 190 people, though my son's wedding will probably be under 100. Loved the high ceilings and lights in there.
Absolutely recommend! When my (now husband) and I first toured the Chateau on the River, we immediately knew this was our wedding venue. We toured numerous other venues that were so expensive for the quality of what they offered. The Chateau is both a gorgeous venue and has reasonable pricing options.
Getting married at Chateau On The River
A castle wedding is the once-in-a-lifetime, storybook kind — the grand staircase, the ballroom, the gardens and turrets your photos will live on forever. Castle weddings commonly run $10,000–$40,000+ depending on the date, guest count, and how much is included, so ask for a written quote for your season — Chateau On The River doesn’t publish a set price, and tiers move fast. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you’d actually get married — a ballroom that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you’ll want to walk the path your guests take from the gates to the ceremony to the reception. Second, bring your real questions: what’s included with the venue fee (tables, chairs, setup, teardown), the catering and bar policy, whether you can stay overnight on-site, the rain plan for a garden ceremony, and the music curfew.
