My husband and I bought a two bedroom, two bath condo at the Chateau several months ago. We love living there. First of all, everyone is so friendly. We were immediately invited to join a lovely group of people at dinner our very first evening. I’ve never been anywhere more friendly.
The best of everything! Well priced condominiums and fees compared to our previous large home, excellent food, attentive staff, beautiful grounds, fun group activities, transportation to stores and medical, exterior maintenance, pet park.
My husband and I have lived at The Chateau at Lake San Marcos for six years. The most important thing to know is that The Chateau is a RESIDENT OWNED RETIREMENT COMMUNITY. Everyone owns their own condo, should you sell your condo and it has appreciated, which is the usual situation, you get that appreciation.
We checked out many senior communities in North SD county, Chateau Lake SM was very different from all the others. Better location (right next to the beautiful lake), better food, better grounds, just better!
