From the reviews
A unique hotel in Bloomington, IL. Looks like a castle. My wife and I stayed there for one night. We were looking for romantic hotels with a character and this one caught our eye.
The Chateau theme of the hotel is fun, both inside and out. The location is great, near the main highway, stores, and restaurants. It's obvious, though, that the building could use some work. The smell throughout was musty, and the TV in my room didn't work.
I really enjoy staying at the Chateau, the pool is heated . The hot tub feels very nice and the service is amazing.. every time I forget things the front desk is very helpful and understanding and also have a great way of telling you where restaurants and stores are located. I always come to town and stay
This is the best value for money we’ve gotten in a long while. While on the road, I first tried to book a room in a large chain hotel. The taxes and fees added an additional $70 to the advertised price of $133 per night! Rather than fall for that trap, I kept searching and found this hotel.
Getting married at Chateau Hotel and Conference Center
A castle wedding is the once-in-a-lifetime, storybook kind — the grand staircase, the ballroom, the gardens and turrets your photos will live on forever. Castle weddings commonly run $10,000–$40,000+ depending on the date, guest count, and how much is included, so ask for a written quote for your season — Chateau Hotel and Conference Center doesn’t publish a set price, and tiers move fast. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you’d actually get married — a ballroom that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you’ll want to walk the path your guests take from the gates to the ceremony to the reception. Second, bring your real questions: what’s included with the venue fee (tables, chairs, setup, teardown), the catering and bar policy, whether you can stay overnight on-site, the rain plan for a garden ceremony, and the music curfew. Fairytale dates at castle venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what’s open in your season before you leave.
