From the reviews
I booked a birthday staycation at Chateau Elan and let me just say… 15/10 🙌🏽 I’ve been going to the winery for over a decade but this was my first time staying at the hotel. I grabbed the Estate Escape package and it was honestly an amazing deal for everything that came with it.
We stayed here for two nights. It was good. The rooms are nice and clean. Overall, the staff was friendly. My two issues with the Chateau was parking and having a 20% gratuity automatically added to my to go order at Louis'. Accessible would NOT be the word I'd use to describe their parking.
I had the opportunity to visit Château Élan Winery & Resort for a wine tasting on a lovely Saturday, and it was such a beautiful experience. It was definitely crowded—everyone had the same idea—but the staff offered a great suggestion for our group to purchase bottles and enjoy our own tasting together, which worked…
My 3-day, 2-night stay at Chateau Elan Winery & Resort was nothing short of exceptional—and honestly, far beyond what I expected after reading some of the harsh reviews online. I’m so glad I didn’t let those opinions sway me, because my experience was truly one of the best I’ve had.
Getting married at Chateau Elan Winery & Resort
A castle wedding is the once-in-a-lifetime, storybook kind — the grand staircase, the ballroom, the gardens and turrets your photos will live on forever. Castle weddings commonly run $10,000–$40,000+ depending on the date, guest count, and how much is included, so ask for a written quote for your season — Chateau Elan Winery & Resort doesn’t publish a set price, and tiers move fast. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you’d actually get married — a ballroom that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you’ll want to walk the path your guests take from the gates to the ceremony to the reception. Second, bring your real questions: what’s included with the venue fee (tables, chairs, setup, teardown), the catering and bar policy, whether you can stay overnight on-site, the rain plan for a garden ceremony, and the music curfew. Fairytale dates at castle venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what’s open in your season before you leave.
Galas & corporate events at Chateau Elan Winery & Resort
Reviews and the castle's own info mention galas, corporate events, or private parties at Chateau Elan Winery & Resort — castle venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
