From the reviews
Castle Rock Inn Restaurant and bar is an OASIS in the Driftless Area of Wisconsin. Located on the top of large bluff ridge near Castle Rock in Grant County. This is lofty spot to quench your thirst or feed your soul. I smell grandma’s recipes cooking.
My husband and I enjoyed a delicious chicken dinner last evening. The broasted chicken was moist and done to perfection. My sides were Mac and cheese, corn for a vegetable. The peach dessert was out of this world. Bar staff and waitress were pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed our conversation with Abby, the chef.
AMAZING VENUE! We hosted my parents 50th anniversary here 2 years ago, and they made it so easy. The food was delicious, the service was superb and the venue was perfect! Fast forward to Thanksgiving 2020, and the carryout during the pandemic was delicious, hot and plentiful! I wish I could leave 10 stars!
Friday Night Fish Fry, All you care to eat was amazing. Walleye, Catfish, Cod, Chicken, scallops, vegies, salad and desert bar and so much more. Great menu if you are not a fish eater. I give this place a 9 out of 10. Owners and staff Very friendly. Everyone should try Castle Rock Inn.
Getting married at Castle Rock Inn
A castle wedding is the once-in-a-lifetime, storybook kind — the grand staircase, the ballroom, the gardens and turrets your photos will live on forever. Castle weddings commonly run $10,000–$40,000+ depending on the date, guest count, and how much is included, so ask for a written quote for your season — Castle Rock Inn doesn’t publish a set price, and tiers move fast. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you’d actually get married — a ballroom that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you’ll want to walk the path your guests take from the gates to the ceremony to the reception. Second, bring your real questions: what’s included with the venue fee (tables, chairs, setup, teardown), the catering and bar policy, whether you can stay overnight on-site, the rain plan for a garden ceremony, and the music curfew. Fairytale dates at castle venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what’s open in your season before you leave.
Galas & corporate events at Castle Rock Inn
Reviews and the castle's own info mention galas, corporate events, or private parties at Castle Rock Inn — castle venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
