Castle Hill Lighthouse is a hidden gem and a must-see in Newport. It’s a free activity that starts with parking at Castle Hill, followed by a short, unassuming dirt path—easy to miss if you’re not paying attention, but trust me, don’t skip it.

Thanks to the reviews and information here on Google maps we found the lighthouse easily. We parked just across the small road and walked down the sidewalk until we saw the small sign marked Castle hill lighthouse, just down the path through the trees you'll see the top of the lighthouse.

Castle Hill Lighthouse is absolutely worth the visit. It takes a short walk to get there, and parking can be a bit tricky since it’s near private property, but the views make it completely worthwhile.

The Castle Hill Lighthouse is a stunning gem! The views of the ocean are absolutely breathtaking, and the lighthouse itself is a beautiful piece of history. It's a perfect spot for a peaceful walk or to catch a sunset. A must-see!"
