From the reviews
Definitely better going on the weekday. Fewer people and easier to explore. Give it at least 2.5 hours including wine tasting. The wine selection was less than places like V. Sattui. But really, you’re here for the atmosphere and the cool castle.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I have been visiting this place for the past four years, and every single time it gives me the same feeling of excitement as my very first visit. The castle is absolutely stunning, with a perfect location surrounded by mountains and vineyards at its base — truly a magical atmosphere.
A fairytale winery come to life! Touring Castello di Amorosa was like stepping into another world — part medieval castle. The attention to detail in the architecture is breathtaking — from the stone towers and grand halls to the underground cellars that make you feel like you’re in Tuscany.
My husband and I did the tour followed by the wine tasting, and that was the best choice we could have made for a first visit. Going to the castle and just taking some photos and drinking without really understanding its history or exploring the restricted areas wouldn’t have been a complete experience.
